About
I started my grooming career at a corporate salon as a bather when I was 19 (I’m 33 now!), and I became a certified groomer shortly after.
I’ve always been a creative soul. I’ve dabbled in many different art mediums, but my favorites are dog grooming and photography. I have always felt a deep connection to animals, and I was always bringing home stray/hurt critters as a kid (and as an adult lol). I love that grooming gives me the best of both worlds!
I’ve moved around a lot my whole life, and I have worked at many different salons. I got to learn from new and experienced groomers alike, as well as see how different salons are run. I love the insight and experience this gave me, but it was also hard not feeling like I ever had a home.
During that period of my life, I was pretty low key with my grooming. I enjoyed doing my best and being creative, but I didn’t pursue a whole lot of career advancement training.
I was a wanderer, and I learned a lot of really hard lessons. I am grateful for everything I went through that helped shape me into the person I am now. My husband, my mom, and my adopted children have supported me, and pushed me to pursue my passions and reach my goals.
Creativity is such an essential part of who I am, and I love that I am able to help inspire others to be their authentic selves.
I hope that here you will find inspiration, information, and tools to help you live and create in a way that is authentically you.
